About me

I have always loved painting using a variety of media. I have attended classes at The City Lit - Covent Garden, Kensington & Chelsea College and Bristol School of Art.

In 2005 I found that I enjoyed the challenge of working wet on wet with watercolour and ink and exhibited a series of nudes, influenced by the artist Graham Dean. I increased the use of ink to take advantage of the vibrancy of colour, experimenting with sea salt/cling film to give added texture and marks. I soon applied the technique to flowers -particularly poppies & sunflowers, boats and abstract work - influenced by Gaudi.

In 2008 I became resident artist at The National Sailing Academy, in Weymouth & Portland the sailing venue for 2012 Olympics.
